The average member of the public knows some of the names on this list. IBM for example is a major computing firm that just happens to manage business-consulting duties too. It has decades of experience behind it and has carved out a niche as a respectable and also very traditional supplier of services.
Not every member of the public knows about McKinsey and Company, but they are a major force to be reckoned with in consulting, and have developed a reputation as high quality consultants that add real value to nay business, large or small.
Price Waterhouse has always been recognised as a high quality consultancy, and it has thrived on that reputation. Others, like NERA, are effectively making their presence felt in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
This list shows that there are plenty of consultancy firms out there that work hard to build their reputations and thrive. If you’re a consultant, there is also plenty of work too.
